Modular construction offers a new business model
TURKISH Melih Şimşek, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Structural Steel Association, emphasized that modular construction techniques have continued to stand out in the construction sector recently and that this model offers an innovative business model to the real estate sector.
Şimşek, who is also the founder of Consera, explained the following about this model: "Modular construction, unlike traditional methods, involves the production of 2- or 3-dimensional modules in factories and assembling them on site. This method speeds up the construction process and reduces the need for labor. Often referred to as a 'package house', this approach combines land and housing in a single solution."
